Blue Collar Sport and Leisure Photos

These are the preparatory photos i have taken for a project in which i am looking at Blue Collar sport and leisure activities for which i will be producing a series of etchings. The places i have documented so far are Repton Amateur Boxing Club, Romford Dog Track, Mecca Bingo on Hackney Road, Millwall Football Club and the Eastenders Snooker halls on Whitechapel Road. I will also be including Darts into my series of etchings but it has been very difficult to find somewhere to go and document the sport in all its glory.

The Hobo Code

These are a series of letterpress prints i have produced outlining the Code of Conduct which all Hobo's who ride the rails of America must adhere to. I have also included the plates that the prints were made with because they took a very long time to make.

Winos

A series of etchings and drawings based on the regulars at my local pub, The Carpenters Arms on Cambridge Heath Road in East London. I have also produced a fanzine entitled "Winos" so if you would like a copy please get in contact.

Brick Lane Stereotypes/ Dissertation Project

For my dissertation i looked at how and why Brick Lane has become a hub for the art and design industry in London and what effect the new housing developments and money being invested into the area will have on the current occupants.
